Group Trainings

I’m blessed to be able to work directly with individuals and families and form close connections throughout the therapy process. However, I am also passionate about providing education and intervention supports on a broader level to make a difference in even more lives. For almost a decade, I have been involved in group trainings whether through in-services, conferences, or standalone workshops. I have provided trainings for professionals, parents, and other caregivers. My course offerings (for the professional or caregiver level) include:

  • Understanding sensory processing and applications for the home, school, or daycare environment

  • Exploring the development of emotional regulation through a sensory and relational lens

  • Supporting early motor and emotional skills for optimal development in young children

  • Addressing and preventing “picky eating” from a sensory, relational, and environmental perspective

  • Integrating a sensory-informed treatment approach within a mental health setting

  • Beyond Sensory Series: How to optimize behavior, development, and wellness through an integrative, holistic model. Topic options include but are not limited to:

    • Cooking whole foods. Including child-friendly approaches

    • Reducing toxic load in your daily life

    • Nutritional support for your body and mind

  • “Time for Me” Caregiver Series: Using sensory, movement, breathing, and self-care strategies for parents and caregivers, so that they can be the person they want their children to grow up to be

  • Customized training based on organization/facility needs
