It’s never too late to find hope.
I am an occupational therapist who specializes in sensory integrative therapy, focusing on helping children and adults with the physical, social, or emotional difficulties that affect everyday life. I watch how people move and breathe to help uncover the “root cause” of their challenges. I’m a self-proclaimed science geek and podcast addict. I make changes in people’s lives by playing hard, listening quietly, and educating fiercely. I believe we can re-wire the nervous system at any point in our lives, and we can achieve any goal we set out to accomplish. With each passing year as an OT, I learn more about how our nervous system and behavior is impacted by everything—from the way we move, to the people we spend time with, to the food we eat, and even the air we breathe. My practice has moved beyond the “sensory basics” to include a more holistic approach. My clients benefit from SI therapy that also incorporates education around: food and nutrition, exposure to environmental toxins, essential oils & “clean living,” mind-body practices, and the power of relationships on the nervous system.
